For 2022, expo PetroTrans and expo GasTrans, the specialised trade fairs for fuel and gas logistics, are all ready to go for the preparations of a full-featured trade exhibition backed by a lecture programme. After the cancellation due to Corona in 2020, the initiators and organisers are proud to announce the date of the next event: between 22nd and 24th September 2022, the gates will be opening at Kassel Trade Fair grounds.

With a growing number of visitors and a positive development of exhibition space, expo PetroTrans, the trade fair for transport, logistics and transhipment in the petroleum industry, has established itself as an important business platform for the fuel trade since its debut in 2004. The expo PetroTrans brings together professionals from the trade and freight forwarding sectors, leading companies and innovative newcomers to the industry. The exhibitors show, among other items, tankers, special vehicles, superstructures, trailers and loading systems, services and software solutions, in addition to alternative fuels. The industrial exhibition is rounded off by a varied and practical supporting programme that includes topics relating to logistics, transport and transhipment in the fuel industry.
In 2022, the expo GasTrans will be adding a future-oriented perspective – transport and transhipment of liquefied gases in tank wagons – to the expo PetroTrans, an industry forum unique in Europe. The expo GasTrans, which has evolved from the special exhibition held as part of expo PetroTrans 2018, is the contemporary addition to the previous range of trade fairs. The intersection of both segments generates synergies that are equally profitable for exhibitors and visitors alike.
“Our aim is to introduce decision-makers to forward-looking technologies, with the aid of which existing business fields can be optimised and others opened up”, says Ingo Klöver, the Managing Director of planetfair, which conducts the expo PetroTrans in close cooperation with the trade fair and event company AVR and Leipzig Trade Fair.
