| The expo PetroTrans Innovation Award
Any exhibitor can register with his innovation before the trade fair and present it to the professional public at the fair. The expo PetroTrans visitors will then select the winner of the innovation award from all submissions.
The expo PetroTrans Innovation Award 2010 is being presented this year for the second time. Around 20 exhibitors are presenting their innovations. Visitors have the possibility to select their favourites from all the new items that are being presented at the fair. After the votes have been counted, the winners will be awarded the expo PetroTrans Innovation Award on Saturday at 3.00 p.m.
This is how it works:
Each visitor will be given a ballot during visitor registration at the ticket counters along with a map of the halls. All exhibitors that are taking part in the innovation award and the booths where their innovations can be found are shown in the map of the halls.
After completion of the “innovation slalom”, visitors will enter the innovation that they liked the most on the ballot and put it in the participation box provided for that purpose. Hence, each visitor has one vote. In case of doubt, or if the results are close, there is a jury made up of the editors in chief of our media partners Uwe Heins (gefährliche ladung) and Hans-Henning Manz (Brennstoffspiegel and mineralölrundschau).

BARTEC GmbH with its new TIGER measuring system for fuel oil and diesel vehicles. TIGER replaces the known gas separator systems. A sensor measures the air content in the fuel oil and calculates the actual quantity of fuel oil per litre. By means of a turbine, the quantity of oil is measured including the air. Then the measured air content is deducted.

The MuLi is a fl atbed extension that can be used fl exibly to transport general cargo (up to 2t or 2 Euro pallets) with the road tanker. The electro-hydraulic lifting device can completely lower the fl atbed for easy loading and unloading.
